Sere leads WTA rankings

Madrid, Feb 13: American tennis player Sere Williams led the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) world rankings on Monday for the third consecutive week.

The WTA rankings top 10 did not see any changes this week as Kerber came in second with 7,115 points, followed by Czech Karoli Pliskova with 5,270, reports Efe.

Spanish Garbine Muguruza maintained seventh position with 4,720 points.

The current WTA rankings and point scores are as follows:

1. Sere Williams (US) 7,780 points

2. Angelique Kerber (Germany) 7,115

3. Karoli Pliskova (Czech) 5,270

4. Simo Halep (Romania) 5,172

5. Dominika Cibulkova (Slovakia) 5,070

6. Agnieszka Radwanska (Poland) 4,915

7. Garbiñe Muguruza (Spain) 4,720

8. Svetla Kuznetsova (Russia) 3,915
