Service holders asked to surrender ration cards

SHILLONG, July 1: The office of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Garo Hills, has detected erroneous entry of the mes of Government service holders in the list of beneficiaries under the tiol Food Security Act, 2013. The Deputy Commissioner has requested those Government service holders to surrender their PHH cards and also directed all FP Shop dealers and vigilant committees to report such cases to the department in order to help the deserving poor families to get the benefits under the Act.
