Seva Dal burns effigies of Central ministers

ITAGAR, June 29: Demanding resigtion of Sushma Swaraj, Smriti Irani and Vasundhara Raje, the Aruchal Pradesh Congress Seva Dal (APCSD) today staged a protest rally here and burnt their effigies.

The rally which began from Indira Gandhi Bhavan harlagun, culmited at Takar Complex.

Holding placards, the activists of the Seva Dal demanded their resigtion on moral ground while alleging their involvement in the Lalit Modi controversy.

Hundreds of protestors including members from Aruchal Pradesh City Congress Mahila Committee, City Congress, NSUI, Congress Councilors and panchayat leaders joined the rally.

The APCSD has been demanding resigtion of Exterl Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for their involvement in the Lalit Modi controversy besides resigtion of union HRD Minister Smriti Zubin Irani for her fake degree certificate.

The protestors alleged that the BJP was trying to protect Lalit Modi which indirectly protects the black money offenders.
