Seven people injured in land dispute

gaon, June 16: Seven people were injured, including a child and a woman, in a land dispute at Roumari under Rupahihat police station.

Eye witnesses informed that Habibur Rahman of Roumari and his family members allegedly quarreled with Chaukat Ali and his family.

The quarrel suddenly turned into a fight and both parties attacked one another with dao and sticks.

This left seven people injured. The injured are Amesha Khatun, Chaukat Ali, Khairul Islam, Mahmuda Begum, Ayesha Khatun and a 7-year child med Mahmuda Khatun. The injured were later taken to the hospital.
