Seven rescued from clutches of traffickers

Rangia, Dec 10:  Seven persons, including three minors, were rescued by the local public of village Udi of Rangia from the captivity of three notorious traffickers on Saturday evening.

It is alleged that the three traffickers -Raja Das of Nowgoan, Amrul Ali of Udalguri and Imdadul Ali of Changsari, Kamrup were sending total seven persons, including three minors to Punjab. The victims were from different parts of the State like Barpeta, Tripura, Dibrugarh, Tangla, Udalguri and Rangia.

 The public detained them and handed them over to the Rangia Police. Police is interrogating them for further information at Rangia police station.
