Several hurt in road mishaps

SHILLONG, August 10: A motorist along with the pillion rider sustained injuries when they fell off the motorbike in Thakmagre under Selsella Block, West Garo Hills August 9. The injured motorist Justbin Sangma (42) and the pillion rider Rongseng Sangma (37) were shifted to Phulbari CHC. Rongseng Sangma was then shifted to Tura Christian Hospital for further treatment. In another two-wheeler related accident one Greelin Sangma (70) sustained injuries when she was hit by a motorbike (ML08D - 1719) while walking on the side of the road. The motorist and the pillion rider also sustained injuries during the collision at Khardang under Resubelpara Block, North Garo Hills August 9. Sangma, the pillion rider Arbot Sangma (40) and the motorist Martin Sangma (45) were shifted to Resubelpara CHC.
