Several incidents of crime reported in State

SHILLONG, Mar 5: Unknown miscreants on the night of March 3 dismantled and destroyed the under-construction building of one Kortis Rani (35) of Mawkneng village under Sohiong OP (EKH).

On the same day at around 2.30 pm, one Maruti Baleno (ML-10B-0388) driven by Saiabor P Nongpluh (39) knocked down one minor girl at Umphyri (EKH). As a result, the victim died on the spot.

In another incident, on March 3, at around 10.45 pm, one Tata Sumo (MZ-01F-7739) driven by H. Lalruatathluanga (27) capsized at Puriang (EKH). As a result, the driver and three occupants sustained injuries and were shifted to NEIGRIHMS.

On March 2, at 2 pm, one Tata Sumo (ML-04B-4604) collided with one Maruti car (ML-05K-5120) at Umsuwe, Ladmukhla, NH-44 (WJH). As a result, driver of the Maruti car sustained minor injuries and was shifted to a hospital. After the incident, driver of the Tata Sumo fled away.

Meanwhile, on January 27, one Birodhi Hajong lodged a complaint that on January 27, 2017, unknown miscreant(s) stole his motorcycle (ML-14-0927) from Ampati (SWGH).
