Several injured in separate accidents

SHILLONG, Dec 5: A driver along with four occupant of a Maruti car (ML05K – 7017) proceeding towards Khliehriat from Shillong, sustained injuries when the car was hit by a truck coming from the opposite direction.

The collision took place at Mookyndur under Thadlaskein Block, West Jaintia Hills District on the 5th of December, 2016 at 7:43 A.M.  The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Mawryngkneng helped in shifting the driver Welstar Nongbet (27), Nisha Mary Syiemiong (26), Suresh Ra (38), Lungsing Rynjah (38) and Shining Star Nongbet (34) to a city base Hospital in Shillong.

In another incident, a motorist along with the pillion rider sustained injuries when the motorbike (ML08A – 1320) was hit by another motorbike coming from the opposite direction.

The incident happened at Dallangre under Dadenggre Block, West Garo Hills District on the 4th of December. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Dadenggre helped in shifting the motorist, Rajandro Marak (30) and Weiphilla Sangma (24) to Dadenggre CHC. Rajandro Marak was then shifted to Tura Civil Hospital.
