Several private schools in Tangla perform well in HSLC examination

TANGLA: Several prominent private sector schools of the town have once again done well in the HSLC examination conducted by SEBA, results of which were declared on Wednesday.

Auxilum Convent, Tangla performed exceptionally well as 27 out of 38 students secured first division with three students securing distinction and five-star marks. The principal of the school also said that the results were very good and all the candidates got through the exam while Subhangi Paul of the school scored 93 per cent.

Teachers from Tangla English Medium High School, Tangla informed that out of 38 students, 36 passed with 19 securing first division while four students secured distinction marks. Arunodoi Academy, another private school, also fared well. Out of 100 students, 84 passed the exam with 42 getting first division and 12 getting distinction marks. Udalguri district recorded a pass percentage of 53.38 per cent.
