SFI protest against imperialism

Guwahati, March 24: On the eve of the death anniversary of Bhagat Singh on March 23, the State committee of the Student Federation of India (SFI) held a protest rally in Guwahati near the Dighalipukhuri area. A press release stated that Bhagat Singh was not only against the British rule, but also against capitalism and imperialism. Even though the BJP government was in power, it was trying to suppress the needs of the common man to satisfy the imperialist class, stated the release. SFI, added the release, would fight so that the sacrifices of great martyrs like Bhagat Singh did not go in vain. State SFI president Nirangkush th and district secretary Kasyap Chowdhury were present at the protest.
