SFI urges OIL to repair dilapidated road

DIGBOI, Aug 29: The Digboi unit of Student Federation of India (SFI) submitted a memorandum here on Tuesday to Oil India Limited, Digboi in regard to immediate repair of the road stretching from Night Super stand point to Digboi College link road.

According to the student organization, the dilapidated NEC road between the two points causes inconvenience for people, especially students, and several accidents have occurred earlier on the road. Since the road falls within the OIL interest area, the SFI submitted the memorandum to Oil India Limited, Duliajan through the Head Eastern Producing Areas, Digboi to this effect.
