GUWAHATI, April 27: In a bid to reach out to maximum number of students and unearth talent in schools, School Games Federation of India (SGFI) will conduct a rigorous three-day cricket trial camp in Guwahati along with 19 other cities of the country. The trial will get underway from July under the watchful eyes of the panel of selectors. The shortlisted candidates will go on to represent their respective city teams in the first season of the National School Cricket League (NSCL). The trials will be open to players under the age group of 12-18 years and SGFI has shortlisted 20 cities – Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Haryana, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Delhi, Dehradun, Bangalore, Kolkata, Ranchi, Guwahati, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Noida, Indore, Varanasi and Allahabad – to roll out the nationwide Cricket talent hunt.
