SIVASAGAR, August 13: Sanjukta Ga Manch (SGM), a newly formed independent political party to bring about a social change for mission Dream Sivasagar, has done a great job in helping an under privileged student in his education.

Azim Bora, a student from a very poor family of Hatikukh area of Sivasagar, who worked as a daily wage-labourer for his livelihood, has secured first class in graduation from Sibsagar College, Joysagar this year. His father, who sells vegetables to run his family, almost lost hope for his son’s future who got admission in Gauhati University for higher education.

At this juncture when the family really needed help, the team of Dream Sivasagar provided fincial help to the student by collecting money from its members and sending the student to Guwahati for his studies.

Pariksheet Baruah, a youth from Sivasagar town under whose tireless effort, hundreds of youths of Sivasagar unitedly formed the SGM, told The Sentinel, “We don’t collect any dotion from anyone. Azim has been sent to Guwahati with contribution from the members of our team. Our team has been formed with motivation and passion to bring a change in our society and we are always there to help young and bright students. If someone willingly wishes to contribute for the betterment of the society, they are most welcome.”
