Shaan takes mami Barak by storm

Silchar, Nov 21: Popular singer Shaan performed on stage at Police Parade Ground in Silchar at the concluding night of mami Barak festival on Monday. It was five minutes past nine on Monday night when a mesmerizing voice from the backstage of the main stage at Police Parade Ground was heard. Within split seconds, the maddening crowd guessed that it was the heartthrob playback singer Shantanu Mukherjee, popularly known as Shaan. His ‘Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh’ set the tone for the rest of the gala night. He did not take much time to ascend the stage and his sheer presence made people go gaga over him. The singer kept on connecting with the people every now and then. The infinite number of footfalls was a testimony of Shaan’s immense popularity. Shaan not only sizzled on stage but also rocked it off. He took the ever screaming crowd on a soulful journey by crooning some soft songs.
