Shakib rrowly escapes copter crash

Dhaka, Sep 16: Bangladeshi ace cricketer Shakib Al Hasan had a rrow escape on Friday morning when the helicopter he was travelling in crashed on its return journey, media reports said.

Shakib and his wife Umme Ahmed Shishir flew to Tulip Sea Pearl Beach Resort, near Ini sea-beach in Cox's Bazar district, Bangladesh, for a television commercial shoot.

The chopper on its return journey took off with five passengers, including the pilot, and crashed around 10.30 a.m. in Redu Khal area near Ini sea beach. One person was killed and four others injured in the accident. "I am fine, but feel rather shocked at the news of the chopper crash." The Daily Star quoted Shakib as saying.

The cause of the accident is yet unknown. IANS
