Shift to Pumao, Wangham to CRPF

Itagar, April 4: Aruchal Pradesh Supply & Transport, Civil Aviation and Science & Technology Minister Thangwang Wangham visited Pumao circle headquarters to inspect the infrastructure created for Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to join Pumao from Wakka circle. It may be mentioned that due to non-availability of basic amenities in the Pumao circle, the force could not shift its personnel to Pumao.

Taking keen interest in the matter, the minister directed CRPF and the executing agencies to shift to Pumao on or before April 12 next as agreed upon by deputy commandant 36 Bn CRPF Balvir Singh. The executing agencies were also directed to provide water supply and electricity facilities before April 12. The minister also directed the district administration to monitor the executing agencies to speed up the process. Wangham was accompanied by Longding deputy commissioner Tope Bam, superintendent of police, Dheeraj Kumar and other senior officials besides CRPF personnel, an official communiqué said here today.
