Shillong Lajong win in U-16

SHILLONG, Jan 31: Shillong Lajong FC beat Mohammedan Sports Club by 1-0 in the U-16 Nike Premier Cup at the Cooperage Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday.

The Reds domited the first half of the match but were uble to convert their chances. They displayed another superb performance in the second session and their efforts were rewarded when Donboklang netted the ball after being fed by his teammate Baiakara Swer in the 63rd minute.

Shillong Lajong U-16 team earned three points from today's game and will play their next match against Youngsters FC on February 2 at the Cooperage Stadium.
