Shillong youths interacts with Big B

SHILLONG, Sept 13: The youths of the city today got the opportunity to interact with Bollywood superstar, Amitabh Bachchan along with the other cast and crew of his upcoming movie med ‘Pink’.

The superstar interacted with the students from seven other cities around the country including, Dimapur, Gandhigar, Guwahati, Goa, Jaipur, Cheni and Vishakapatm through the newly launched WiFi network of Reliance Bio.

While answering questions about the new Reliance Jio network and its advantages, Bachchan said, “People are connected through the digital age, especially people in the northeast are connected to the rest of India and they can communicate. This is just remarkable that we can connect lakhs of students from across India at the same time.”

The rest of the cast including the Andrea Tariang, a girl from Shillong, the director, and producer were also present.

In Shillong, the Bollywood stars interacted with students from Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU) and Kiddies Corner in the university campus.

A student from MLCU asked Andrea on her journey from a small town like Shillong to Mumbai, and she said that the fact that she had never lived away from Shillong, it was a big adjustment for her.

When asked about her experience of working with Bachchan, she said that she was very nervous and excited at the same when she learned she will be working with Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.

She added, “I was very nervous and his voice would always make me get Goosebumps.”
