Shilpipran Dharmeswar Bora to be conferred Doyang Valley Award

Golaghat, Jan 29: Merapani Subdivision in Golaghat is a very important subdivision as it is located near the Assam - galand border.  Merapani  Subdivision Jourlist Association, which was formed to serve the greater Doyang Valley area, has decided to introduce an award titled Doyang Valley Award from this year. The award will be given to persolities who have made immense contribution in the fields of art and culture, literature, sports and socio-economic sector.

This year for the first time Merapani Subdivision Jourlist Association will confer the  Doyang Valley Award 2016  posthumously to Shilpipran Dharmeswar Bora for his contribution in the field of art and culture and education. A ceremony will be held on the occasion on January 31 at the premises of the association office in Merapani.
