Shishu Niketan's foundation stone laid

UDALGURI, October 2:  The foundation stone of Sankardev Shishu Vidya Niketan was laid at Harisinga in a function held here recently.  Ramen Deka, MP from Mangaldai Lok Sabha constituency, laid the foundation stone of the school building and announced a grant of Rs 3 lakh. The land for the construction of the school was doted by Devraj Ojha and his family member in memory of late Balabhadra Ojha.  The foundation stone laid programme was presided over by Baneswar Deka, vice president of the School Maging Committee.  Arabinda Ojha, Assistant Teacher of Harisinga H. S. School appealed the people to extend cooperation to the school. Lok Bahadur Chhetry, principal of Harisinga College and other distinguished persons of the locality were also attended the event.
