Shivalinga found near Tangla

TANGLA, September 4: The discovery of a stone Shiva Linga during the unearthing of a pond at Khoirabari revenue village on the outskirts of Tangla on Saturday created sensation and drew hundreds of Hindu devotees to visit the place. Located towards the east-south direction at about 10 km distance from Tangla, the Shiva Linga was discovered by family members of a local villager Dipak Boro in their pond. Later it was unearthed by the local villagers. Hundreds of devotees from far-flung places thronged the site to have a glimpse of it. Villagers informed that with full rituals it will be set up in the house of Dipak Boro.
