Shivaratri celebrated

DEMOW, Feb 25: Shivaratri was celebrated in Thowra Mandir and its surrounding areas with a day-long programme. On Saturday, the people of Demow thronged the Thowra Mandir to offer obeisance to Lord Shiva. A large number of people went to participate in the Shivaratri Mela in Sivasagar. There was a large gathering of people from Demow in buses and other vehicles.
