Shooting concludes

SHILLONG, Nov 9: The Two day’s event of 4th Meghalaya Rifle Shooting Association (MRSA) 2016 came to an end in the city on Wednesday. The event began on November 8, at the Shooting Hall of 58 GTC Mawlynrei – Happy Valley Shillong. 82 shooters from 16 teams took part altogether to make the event more competitive with boys and girls of 17 years old too. Bijaya Karki, 58 GTC Shillong a well know tiol Shooter was the Chief Referee. Winners in the event included Evanrisha Marboh who bagged the Best Shooter in the women category and Brig. William J B Sturgeon in the men’s category. Sanja Marboh got the title of Most Promising Shooter while Mawlynrei bagged both the best team for men and women. The overall Championship was bagged by Mawlynrei Combined.
