Shop gutted in Demow

DEMOW, November 30: Under Demow Police Station in Demow Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) campus, fire broke out in a mobile phone handset shop on Tuesday night.  A computer, fridge and mobile phone handsets along with other essential items in the shop were completely destroyed in the fire. The local people immediately informed Demow Police and the fire brigade. The fire was filly put out. A source said that electric short-circuit had caused the fire.
