Shops gutted in Hayuliang

ITAGAR, Aug 20: A fire broke out at Swami-Camp areas, about 3 Km from Hayuliang town on August 18 around 8 pm. Two shops and 3 rental rooms were totally destroyed in the fire. There was no report of any injury in the accident.

The fire victims were provided immediate relief of Rs 3000 each by ADC In-charge Tojum Ete. The district administration has constituted a high level enquiry committee headed by District Incidence Commander Tom Ratan, EAC to conduct thorough enquiry into cause of frequent fire accidents in Hayuliang township and Swami Camp. The district administration appealed to the people to take care and precaution while handlings fire gas cylinder etc to avoid such accidents. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner M Riba, announced relief of Rs, 1, 00, 000 to the fire victims to be distributed through the District Disaster Magement Authority
