Short film Panchanvi Kanya to be released today

Silchar, Sept 13: A short film in Hindi based on the theme ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ titled ‘Panchanvi Kanya’ will be released on Wednesday. The producer cum assistant director Sneha Singhal is playing the lead role in this 30 min short film. The film will be broadcast through all the local television channels of the three districts of Cachar, Karimganj and Hailakandi. Besides, the film will also be showcased on Guwahati Prag Cinema today. The film has four main characters and twelve other supporting artists. It is the combined result of four singers, two musicians and three videographers. Moreover, the film has been made with local artists and in future more such films are planned.

 Sneha Singhal said she is happy that her short film is releasing on the occasion of ‘Hindi Divas’. This year, as she points out, the celebration will be different with the release of the short film which she considered as a ‘very big day’ for her. She also informed that besides Barak Valley, the short film is releasing in other parts of the country including Guwahati, Kolkata, Delhi and Rajasthan.
