Shun money culture during polls: Phassang

Our correspondent

Itanagar, May 8: BJP National Council member and State vice president Tame Phassang has urged the people to shun ‘money culture’ during elections.

Phassang, who was addressing the party workers at D-Sector here, said the BJP is the party with a difference as it works selflessly for the uplift of the downtrodden people. “We don’t endorse money culture in elections and should refrain from such practices,” he said. While appealing the party workers to reach out to the masses, the BJP vice president said there are more than 200 welfare schemes initiated by the Central government and it is the duty of the workers to share the information regarding the schemes as well as to check whether it has reached the needy.

Endorsing the Team Arunachal and Arunachal Rising’ slogan, Phassang said under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu as well as support from the Centre, Arunachal Pradesh is marching on the track of development and prosperity.
