Shyamal Chandra Bagchi Memorial Lecture delivered

Dibrugarh: Shyamal Chandra Bagchi Memorial Lecture was held at India Club on Sunday. The event was organized under the aegis of Shyamal Smriti Nyakh, Bharat Vikash Parishad (BVP) and Shyamal Chandra Bagchi Smriti Raksha Samiti. The chief guest for the occasion was the Xatradhikar of the famous Auniati Xatra as well as the general secretary of BVP, Assam, Dr. Pitambar Dev Goswami. Speaking at the event, Dr Goswami said that the main purpose of a human life should be to strive to work for society. He added that all should draw inspiration from the life of Shyamal Chandra Bagchi. An expert on personality development, Nirmalay Bhattacharya, in his speech, said that life was full of problems and pain, but escapism was neither the solution to it, nor wise.
