Silapathar incident condemned at Dhing and Raha

Batadrava, March 7:  The activists of Dhing Ancholik Satra Santha on Tuesday staged a protest in Dhing town demanding immediate arrests of all culprits involved in vandalism of the AASU office at Silapathar, Dhemaji and to take stern action against them.

The protesters raised various slogans against Hindu Bangladeshis and strongly condemned the incident. The AASU unit also cautioned the government and administration to launch an agitation if the culprits were not apprehended soon. AASU Dhing Unit president bajyoti Saikia, secretary in-charge Hirak Jyoti Borah along with hundreds of activists took part in the protest.

On the other hand, the Raha unit activists of All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) on Tuesday condemned the Silapathar incident and demanded the arrest of all culprits immediately.
