Silchar and Guwahati in command

GUWAHATI, March 17: Silchar and Guwahati took one step forward to win their last semi fil group league matches in the Nuruddin Inter district Cricket championship held in two different venues in the city today. Guwahati, chasing 89 runs to win at the NFRSA stadium, were 16-0 at stumps on day II. In the other game, held at the Barsapara ground, Dibrugarh chasing 317 to win against Silchar are struggling 80-4 at the end of the second day's play.
