Silchar boy makes it big in Bollywood

Silchar, Feb 8: Silchar based, Rajdeep Choudhury, an actor, will be sharing screen space with ace filmmaker cum actor Arbaaz Khan in Sachin Karande’s next flick Jack and Dill. The film, also starring Sol Chauhan and Amit Sadh, has been directed by Sachin Karande and scheduled for a March release through Reliance Entertainment. Sachin Karande and Rajdeep Choudhury who are on a Silchar visit, are very excited and enthusiastic about the film. Sachin Karande is hopeful that the film will prove to be a complete family entertainer.

 “The plot revolves around a businessperson played by Arbaaz Khan, ups and downs in his profession and relationship with his wife Sol Chauhan and the rift in their relation caused by the intrusion of a handsome stranger played by Rajdeep Choudhury.” An excited Rajdeep Choudhury said, “It is a huge opportunity for me. I am in my learning phase and have been well trained by the talented Sachin Karande. He is my mentor, guide and friend. We share a great companionship. It feels great to welcome him here as he is planning to make his next film in Assam.”

 Jack and Dill has been extensively shot in Goa and Mumbai. Sachin Karande has directed movies like ‘Payback’ (2010), ‘Vikalp’ (2011) and ‘Kota Junction’ (2015), a TV movie ‘Arb aur Jadui Locket (2014), a short film ‘Wych Barton’ produced by London UK films and produced a scary, thrilling and creepy episode of a TV series ‘Rekhaa 011-30453607’ (2017). Both Sachin and Rajdeep along with two members of London UK Films, Eric Ollerenshaw and John Rowe, are here on a location hunt for a new film to be shot in Assam. Both Eric and John Rowe said that they are happy to be here again and are looking forward to Sachin Karande for his next project. Their aim is also to highlight the beauty of Assam to a wider audience through a film.
