Silchar-Lumding trains cancelled

SILCHAR, May 5: Owing to the heavy rainfall in the hills, many places of Badarpur – Lumding hill section have been badly affected. Since construction and repair work is going on, trains between Guwahati and Silchar have been cancelled. It was informed by NF Railway, Guwahati – Silchar Kanchanjungha Express which was scheduled to leave for Silchar today from Guwahati and Silchar–Guwahati Kanchanjungha Express which was scheduled to leave from here on May 6 have been cancelled, however, it will run between Guwahati and Sealdah.
