Silchar Press Club’s AGM on March 1

SILCHAR, January 31: The annual general meeting of Silchar Press Club is going to be held on March 1. A meeting has been convened in Press Club here today to resolve the deadlock. No general meeting has taken place for the last seven years due to some reasons. A screening committee has been formed today which will verify the validity of the members and then the list of valid members will be listed out on February 21.  The interested candidates can file their nomitions for various posts by February 23. The general meeting will be followed by elections.
