Silpi Divas to be observed at Tamulichiga

GAURISAGAR, January 13: Along with the rest of the State, Silpi Divas will be observed at Lahuwal Kala Krishti Kendra under the joint aegis of Adarsha Xahitya Xabha, Tamulisiga and Ankur Jyoti Silpi Samaj, Lahowal on January 17.
The day-long programme will started with hoisting of flag by Bipul Hazarika, president, Adarsha Xahitya Xabha, Tamulisiga, followed by smriti tarpan by Anta Bhatta, president, Angkur Jyoti Silpi Samaj. An essay competition will be held among the school students. Later the drawing and recitation competition will be held. A symposium on the topic ‘Jyotiprasad Agarwalla as artist’ will be held . Plaabai Baruah will conducte it while Brishti Rekha Konwer, Barli Borthakur, Dimi Konwer, Mash Pratim Dutta and Rajashree Gogoi will be appointed speakers.
