Silver jubilee celebration of CTE, Golaghat to conclude

GOLAGHAT (Dhekial), August 8: The College of Teacher Education (CTE), Golaghat has completed 25 years. In this regard the CTE has been observing the silver jubilee since last year. The year-long silver jubilee will conclude with a closing ceremony from August 11 and August 12.

The closing ceremony will be held at the premise of college campus with a day-long programme. The programme will be started with lighting of the lamp by Dr. Phatik Gogoi, former president of maging committee, the hoisting of college flag will be done by Ajoy Kandula, Principal of CTE, Golaghat and flag of silver jubilee by Kusheswar Khanikar, former principal of CTE, Golaghat. Later unveiling of souvenir, interaction programme and cultural programme will be held.

On the second day, art competition among the students and plantation and laying the foundation stone of the boundary wall of the college will be held.

The open session will be iugurated by Varli Deka, Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat. Dr. Alak Kumar Buragohain, the Vice-Chancellor of Dibrugarh University, will take part as a guest of honour. State Agriculture Minister Atul Bora, MP Gaurav Gogoi, MLA of Khumtai, Mril Saikia and MLA Dergaon, Bhaben Bharali will take part as special guests of the progamme.
