Silver jubilee celebrations of AAJU

BOKAKHAT, Aug 2: All Assam Jourlists’ Union (AAJU) has completed 25 glorious years and is going to observe silver jubilee this year.  On the occasion, a day-long opening function will be organized by AAJU along with Bokakhat Branch at Bokakhat tya Mandir on Aug 9 where 25 senior jourlists of various districts will iugurate the silver jubilee year by igniting 25 lamps. A semir on the development of jourlism and social responsibilities of jourlists will also be held in which Principal Saumar Jyoti Mahanta of Sivasagar Commerce College and Arun Das, the resident editor of the Dainik Jambhumi will attend as resource persons. The second and third function of the silver jubilee will be held at Dibrugarh and Guwahati respectively, while the closing function will be held in Jorhat.
