Silver jubilee of Sonowal Kachari Jatia Parishad celebrated at Dibrugarh District Library

Dibrugarh: The silver jubilee of the central foundation day of the Sonowal Kachari Jatia Parishad was held on Wednesday at the District Library. Various events marked the occasion. It was kicked-off by hoisting the flag of the Sonowal Kachari Jatiya Parishad. An open meeting was also scheduled with founder president Keshav Chandra Sonowal as its inaugurator and Shantanu Das Borhajowal as president. The opening speech was delivered by Robin Saikia Sonowal, followed by speech by Tankeshwar Sonowal. A cultural event, among others, was also held in the evening characterized by the traditions, culture and songs of the community.
