Silver medals awarded to 2 DCs of the State

Shillong, June 4: In connection with the 2011 Census, silver medals for meritorious service have been awarded by the President of India to two officers of the Government of Meghalaya –Deputy Commissioners P Bakshi and S Kharlyngdoh. The silver medals were handed over by the Additiol Chief Secretary & Chief Electoral Officer P K ik to the two officers at a small function held recently at Pine Wood Hotel, Shillong in the presence of senior officers.
