Silver statue of Goddess Kali, necklace stolen

Hojai, June 25: A gold necklace along with the silver statue of Goddess Kali were looted  at Hojai in gaon district. The incident took place at Krish gar of ward no 10 in the heart of Hojai town. The statue made of silver and the gold necklace of Goddess Kali were stolen from the temple premises. The thief broke the main entrance door of the temple and looted the gold  necklace (12 tola), the silver statue of Goddess Kali and Rs 10,000 cash from the almirah, informed the magement committee of the temple.
