Sister Superior of Little Flower Higher Secondary School, Dibrugarh passes away

Dibrugarh: Retired Principal and Sister Superior of Little Flower Higher Secondary School, Dibrugarh passed away on November 21 at VG Hospital. She was 84. Sister Mary served in Little Flower School from 1968 to 1971 as Principal and Sister Superior and then from 1996 till her death as Vicar Sister. She was born on October 30, 1934 in Malla, Kerala. She came to the Northeast on July 1, 1956. Sister Marry dedicated her life as a nun in 1960.

A Requiem (funeral prayer service) was organized on Thursday morning in the school where a number of people, including parents, past students, teachers, students and nuns paid their last respects to the departed soul. The Requiem service was presided over by Father Albert Hemborm, Rector of St. Joseph’s Seminary, Dibrugarh. Priests from Bishop’s House, Sacred Heart Cathedral and Don Bosco School also participated in the service. Her mortal remains will be carried to Uzanbazar in Guwahati for the burial on Saturday.
