SITA vice-chairman focuses on State Development Plan, 2030

Joysagar, June 13: State Innovation and Transformation Aayog (SITA) vice-chairman Deepak Kumar Borthakur visited Sivasagar recently and a top-level administrative meeting was held in the conference hall of the Sivasagar DC’s office. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar, rayan Konwar where the aims and objectives of the meeting were briefed by the EAC, Sivasagar, Priyanku Jyoti Sarmah.

In his address to the top officers of the Sivasagar district administration and other government department representatives, rayan Konwar said that as per the directives of the Assam  State Development Plan which was prepared by the State Planning Department earlier, all departments under Assam Government should focus on this plan to make it full successful by 2030. The main objective of this plan is to achieve development goal within certain time-limit.

 While speaking in the meeting, SITA vice-chairman Deepak Kumar Barthakur focused on the aims of the State Development Plan, 2030 and appealed to all present to be hard working and dedicated so that the Development Plan could become a reality and Assam could attain development. Assam will one day definitely become the first developed State in India, Barthakur asserted.

Sivasagar District Development Commissioner Abhijit Baruah also took part in the meeting. Besides, ADC Arup Sharma, SDO Civil, Sivasagar, Purabi Gogoi and other senior officials of the district administration also spoke on the occasion.
