Sivasagar all set to celebrate Maha Shivratri

SIVASAGAR, February 15:  Preparations are in full swing for the Maha Shivratri Utsav and Mela that will start from Monday at the historic Shiv Dol premises and continue for three days. This annual utsav and mela have been organized by Sivasagar Temple Development Board in collaboration with Sivasagar district administration.  

The Sivasagar Temple Development Board said that altogether 487 stalls would be set up for the mela. Pilgrims and businessmen from neighbouring districts of Jorhat, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Silchar and from States like Jharkhand, West Bengal, galand and Aruchal Pradesh are expected to participate in the mela.
