APSC cash-for-job scam

Joysagar, Feb 22: Senior Congress leader Anil Raja, in connection with the APSC cash-for-job scam, had recently alleged that Sivasagar Revenue Circle Officer Sampriti Goswami had got the job due to the backing of former State Forest Minister Rakibul Hussain and tainted APSC chairperson Rakesh Paul.

Sampriti Goswami has claimed that Raja’s allegation was baseless and totally politically motivated. She said that she had appeared for the written examition conducted by the APSC and then faced the interview, after which she was selected for the Assam Civil Services (ACS) in 2009-10.
