Sivasagar gears up for Intertiol Yoga Day

SIVASAGAR, June 20:  Preparation to observe 3rd edition of Intertiol Yoga Day on June 21 is afoot in Sivasagar. The day will be organized under the auspices of Sivasagar district administration in support of Institute of Yoga and Nutrition Sciences and Patanjali Yogpeeth at Chau-Lung Syukapha Indoor Stadium on Wednesday. Meanwhile, a large section of people, students and officials took part in the seven-day free yoga training organized by Sivasagar district administration at the premises of Sivasagar Circuit House which concluded on Tuesday. As part of the day-long programme on June 21, yoga will be held from 7 am to 8 pm, which will be followed by yoga competition and demonstration. Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner rayan Konwar has already instructed all Block Development Officers to observe the Intertiol Yoga Day on June 21 in a befitting manner, said sources.
