Sivasagar lift Umanda Bora trophy

GUWAHATI, Dec 20: Sivasagar lifted U-13 Umanda Bora Inter District Cricket Tourment title defeating Guwahati by 6 wickets in the fil held at the Barsapara Cricket stadium here today. Chasing 73 runs to win, Sivasagar reached the target in 19.1 overs losing four wickets. Minhaz Wamim Ahmed, man of the fil, remained not out on 25. Earlier elected to bat Guwahati bowled out paltry 72 runs in 30.5 overs. Dhruv Raaj Borah (30), who displayed all round performance in the game, was the top scorer. He later picked up three wickets also.Krishi Agarwal (Sivasagar) and Dhruv Raaj Borah (Guwahati) adjudged as the best bowler and best batsman of the tourment. Atri Pratim Borgohain of winning team received the best wicket keeper award.
