Sivasagar Police arrests two robbers

JOYSAGAR: Two hardcore robbers were arrested by the Sivasagar Police with the help of the Cherekapara outpost police on Saturday night from Hahchara area of Simaluguri in Sivasagar district. The arrested robbers have been identified as Sunu Ali (23) and Bittu Ahmed (26). Besides, a white colour Indica car (AS-01-X-6460) was also seized by the cops which were allegedly used by the robbers in many robberies. One robber, identified as Bhuloka Mura of Masterpatty, Dibrugarh, was able to flee. Sivasagar Police had arrested two robbers earlier, identified as Babul Ghatwar and Maduri Kalita alias Sanjiv. Sources revealed that Sivasagar Police have identified the gang of robbers involved in many robbery incidents in Sivasagar recently. So far four members of the gang have been arrested.
