Six bags of illegal scented agaru chips seized

GAON (HAIBORGAON), July 24: gaon forest personnel with the aid of Borghat Police, on Monday morning seized six bags of illegal scented Agaru chips from a private Alto car bearing registration number AS10A 9098, and also apprehended four smugglers from the vehicle.

The chips are worth around Rs 3 lakh and the seized chips were brought to Hojai from Silchar. According to sources, the bbed smugglers have been identified as zrul Islam, Muzamil Ali of Karimganga, Muktab Hussain and Ahmed Uddin of Silchar.
