Six child labourers rescued

Tezpur, May 2: In a joint operation, the District Legal Services Authority, Sonitpur, Tezpur in association with the District Labour Commissioner, Sonitpur and Child Welfare Committee, Sonitpur, on Wednesday carried out a special drive to rescue children engaged in various commercial activities in an around Tezpur area. During  the drive, six children  were rescued and handed over to SOFTSEED, Nikamul, Tezpur, for their rehabilitation, official sources said.
