Six injured in road mishap

Shillong, March 19: Six people were injured in an accident that took place in soon after zero hours today. The mishap occurred at Baija Market in Williamgar East Garo Hills, when one Hyundai i20 which was on its way to Williamgar from Chisopibra, skidded and overturned in the middle of the road. 6 occupants of the vehicle, including a 1-year old baby, were seriously injured. The injured victims have been identified as Bahul Marak (28-male), Molisa Sangma (19-female), Josmi Marak (25-female), Sanju K Sangma (27-male), Johny Marak (23-male) and Carly Marak (1-year old male). The 108 ambulance based at Williamgar Civil Hospital was dispatched immediately and the injured were shifted to Williamgar Civil Hospital for treatment. This was stated in a pres release.
