Six state boxers in semis

GUWAHATI, Jan 10: Six boxers from Assam entered into the semi fils after winning their respective quarter-fil bouts at the tiol Women’s Boxing Championships at Rohtak on Wednesday. Among the six boxers Jamu Boro, Lovli Borgohain and Alari Boro participated for Assam while Philawo Basumatary, Bhagyabati Kachari and Rumi Gogoi are representing RSPB in the competition.

RESULTS (Quarter Fil):

Bantam (51-54 KG) : Jamu Boro (Asm) bt Richa Sharma (WB) 4:1.,Light Welter (60 - 64 KG) : Pwilao Basumatary (RSPB) bt Stanzin Youthak (J&K) 5:0, Welter (64 - 69 KG) : Lovli Borgohain (RSPB) bt Priyanka Tewatia (D&D) 5:0, Middle (69 - 75 KG) : Alari Boro (Asm) bt Shobha (Del) 5:0; Rumi Gogoi (RSPB) bt Avneet Kaur (Chd) 5:0, Light Heavy (75 - 81 KG) : Bhagyabati Kachari (RSPB) bt Riya Upadhyay (Guj) RSC Round 1.
